In Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'", the girl in the song is a big fan of Elvis Presley, as the lyric goes, "She's a good girl, loves her mama, loves Jesus and America too / She's a good girl, crazy 'bout Elvis". Petty made up the lyric to make his friend Jeff Lynne laugh while writing the song. 

Oklahoma City is the capital of the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It's known for its cowboy culture and capitol complex, surrounded by working oil wells. The reflecting pool and empty glass and bronze chairs of the Oklahoma City National Memorial recall the victims of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The Survivor Tree, an American elm nearly destroyed in the attack, is also part of the memorial.

The title character in the 1943 movie My Friend Flicka is a spirited, rebellious chestnut mustang filly (young female horse) that a rancher's son, Ken, is determined to tame and befriend, learning responsibility and love in the process.
