This is almost like the Nativity story…except it involves alcohol, drugs and a confused barn owner.
Connecticut’s Darien Daily Voice reports that Jayden Velasquez, 24, whipped himself into a stupor after partaking in some drugs and alcohol. The man then jumped in his car and decided to park it in someone else’s barn so he could take a snooze.
State police were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle and, upon arriving at the property, found the barn doors wide open and the suspect sound asleep inside and in his vehicle.
Velasquez was awakened up and confessed to the officers that he did party with some friends, but fell asleep. He was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts, including burglary, criminal trespass, possession of burglar tools, use of drug paraphernalia and others.
At last word, Velasquez was being held on $25,000 bond.
