An Amazon delivery driver is in hot water after being caught on security video allegedly turning a New York City apartment lobby into his own personal restroom.
The incident happened in August, and the tenant says shoes, furniture, and other belongings in the lobby were damaged and had to be thrown away. The tenant complained to Amazon and says he was offered a $50 gift card, which he refused, calling it inadequate compensation. Amazon said the driver worked for an independent delivery contractor, not directly for the company, and that the individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages. The resident is reportedly considering legal action and says the incident has left him wary of future deliveries. (NY Post)
