John Kokoszka is a talented and passionate sculptor in Plattsburgh, New York. He graduated from State University New York Plattsburgh in 1996 and then finished his studies in Oxfordshire, England, before returning home to upstate New York.
Since returning, John has been creating art — and recently donated a special sculpture to his community. He spent decades crafting a piece called “Limitless,” an ambitious, welded-steel sculpture that is now permanently installed right at the main entrance of the library.
John dedicated the piece directly to the people of Plattsburgh to keep art accessible for the whole community. His creativity is also touching the lives of people in the library, as three more of his original artworks are on display in the reading room.
