Call it the GROAT: the greatest rescue of all time.
A goat that was stranded on a Hawaii cliff for a week was finally saved, KHON2 reports. The operation required approaches from the land and the sea to safely remove the animal from her precarious position 120 feet in the air.
It’s unknown how the goat got there in the first place, but upon her rescue, vets determined that she is doing well despite the ordeal and is also pregnant.
Being stuck on a cliffside will hopefully be the most stressful moment of this goat’s life — she’s expected to be adopted and assist in vegetation control efforts.
