A Virginia motorcyclist was apparently on a very important mission: getting to McDonald’s before it stopped serving breakfast.

Police say the rider was clocked doing 72 mph in a 25 mph zone in Manassas. When asked why he was speeding, the biker reportedly told the officer he’d overslept and was racing to catch breakfast. Instead of a McMuffin, though, he got a reckless driving ticket. The officer reminded him that at 72 mph, if something goes wrong, he’s not just missing breakfast… he’s missing lunch and dinner, too. Police say it’s a good reminder that no hash brown is worth becoming a traffic statistic. (USA Today)
