Speak now, or forever hold your cheese

If you’re looking to get married without breaking the bank, consider the house of one Charles Entertainment Cheese.

That’s right, a couple tied the knot at a local Chuck E. Cheese location and, according to People, spent only about $800 to do so.

Twenty-four-year-old bride Leilani Trautman Simeon tells People she was searching for affordable venue options online when she came across a page advertising weddings at Chuck E. Cheese, which she grew up going to and calls “one of the happiest places on Earth.”

She soon discovered, however, that the page was an old April Fools’ Day joke, but she decided to call anyway. After a conversation with a “pretty confused” Chuck E. Cheese employee on the phone, Leilani was able to book the wedding under the restaurant’s birthday package.

Not only that, Leilani signed up for a “VIP Early Access” party, which started at 8 a.m. before Chuck E. Cheese opens to the general public. That helped convince her husband-to-be, 26-year-old Quilee Simeon, to agree to the Chuck E. Cheese wedding plan.

“Once he realized we wouldn’t have to worry about looking crazy and/or creepy in front of children and their families, I think he got on board because he saw how excited I was and how happy it made me,” Leilani says.

On the day of the wedding, Leilani and Quilee said “I do” while celebrating with pizza, cake and “All You Can Play” passes for them and their guests.

“[It] went above and beyond expectations,” Leilani says.
