There’s no doubt that looking for love isn’t easy, and where you live could be playing a role in whether or not you find your happily ever after. Of course, it’s not exactly easy to pick up and move just to find love, but if you’re considering it, a new report is here to help.
WalletHub has just come out with its list of the best and worst cities in the U.S. for singles. It judged over 180 U.S. cities across 35 factors of dating friendliness, including share of the population that’s single, singles gender balance, online and mobile dating opportunities, average price for a two-person meal, average movie costs and more.
With all that in mind, WalletHub reports that Atlanta is the best place for singles, ranking high on the list for fun and recreation due to a high volume of restaurants, attractions and nightlife. It also ranks high on the list for dating opportunities.
Coming in just behind Atlanta is Las Vegas, followed by Tampa at #3, Seattle at #4 and Denver at #5.
As for the other end of the spectrum, love will be harder to find if you live in Brownsville, Texas, which was deemed the worst city in America for singles, particularly because it ranks dead last for dating opportunities.
