Struggling to keep your resolution? Blame it on where you live

If you’re determined to stick to your New Year’s resolution, it turns out where you live may have something to do with how successful you are.

WalletHub surveyed more than 180 cities in the U.S. to rank where it’s easiest to stick to your goals. Looking at 57 different factors, it looks like Seattle just may be the place to be.

Working in the Washington city’s favor are its access to both healthy food and places to work out. Seattle also has the lowest smoking rate in the country.

At the same time, the city boasts the second-lowest percentage of people who are behind on their payments. The city’s residents have the third-best credit scores in the country, as well.

San Francisco; Scottsdale, Arizona; Austin, Texas; and Atlanta finish out the top five places you’re most likely to keep your resolution.

The toughest spot? Jackson, Mississippi, followed by Newark, New Jersey; Gulfport, Mississippi; Shreveport, Louisiana; and Memphis, Tennessee.
