Game 1 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies is on Friday night. Ticket prices in each team’s respective hometowns are on the rise, according to the ticket app and site Gametime.
According to the site, the cheapest seat in the house at Houston’s Minute Maid Park for Game 1 will run you $664. The highest-priced ticket in the house for Game 1 will run you $16,207.
Game 2’s tickets in Houston will run you at least $840 for the cheap seats.
For Game 3, at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park, ticket prices are rising: So far, the least-expensive option for an actual seat is more than $800 a pop — if you don’t want to stand the whole game. The highest price, so far, for the first Phillies home game is more than $8,800.
Game 4, also in Philly, has seats as “cheap” as $840 for now — for the “standing room only” option at the stadium.
