It’s Friday the 13th, and if you’ve managed to survive so far, you should know it’s also World Kindness Day. To help celebrate, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, the co-stars of the recently-released Bill & Ted Face the Music, jumped on a video call to wish fans well.
Reeves, long seen with his longer hair and beard from playing John Wick, was clean shaven — including his head — proof that his message was recorded as he’s reprising his role as Neo in the fourth Matrix film.
“We want to wish you a most happy World Kindness Day,” Winter says.
“Remember, you can be kind today, you can be kind tomorrow…You can be kind anytime,” says Reeves.
Winter also reminded fans to “Be excellent to each other,” while Reeves encouraged them to “party on!” — both actors aping the worlds of their respective most excellent alter egos, Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan Esq.
