The Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Virginia, is a family-friendly resort, featuring an indoor water park maintained at 84 degrees year-round. Over the past couple days, the lodge partnered with the USO for their special “Treats for the Troops” drive — which was a big win for everyone involved.
Families brought wrapped Halloween candy to the lobby and were awarded one waterpark day pass for every two pounds donated. This allowed families to unload their extra Halloween stash for some fun with the kids.
And as a bonus, all the collected goodies are going directly to local military service members heading home for the holidays, including sailors and soldiers at nearby naval, coast guard, and army bases.
