Woman accused of firing at home of Rihanna indicted on attempted murder with assault weapon

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Florida woman has been indicted for allegedly firing a rifle at the California home of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. The grand jury charged Ivanna Lisette Ortiz with attempted murder with an assault weapon. The indictment was unsealed Wednesday, a day after Ortiz was deemed mentally competent to stand trial. Authorities allege that she drove from Orlando to the couple’s Beverly Hills-area property in March and fired at least 20 rounds. Bullets hit a trailer the couple was in at the time and a nursery where their three kids were with their nanny. No one was injured. Ortiz pleaded not guilty and could face life in prison if convicted.
