A routine traffic stop in Florida turned into a much stranger bust.
Deputies in DeSoto County say they pulled over Dewayne Rose for driving 75 mph in a 60 mph zone. When they searched the vehicle, authorities say they found an AR-15 rifle, 77 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and an unusual cargo: about 11 pounds of saw palmetto berries.
Investigators say Rose, a convicted felon with a suspended license, was not allowed to possess a firearm. Deputies also allege he harvested the berries without the required permit. He was booked on multiple charges, including drug trafficking, firearm possession by a convicted felon, and harvesting without a permit. (Yahoo)
