While Zach Galifianakis is known for making celebrities uncomfortable on Between Two Ferns, there’s something even more unpleasant between the ferns at a New Zealand park.
The New Zealand town of Masterton has announced that the fernery in Queen Elizabeth Park has closed due to a specific type of matter: fecal.
“We’ve had several incidents recently of people defecating in the fernery,” the Masterton District Council writes in a Facebook post. “This is a public health hazard and our teams are in the process of cleaning it up.”
“This behaviour is entirely unacceptable,” the post continues. “There are several bathrooms within easy walking distance of the fernery.”
The town is asking anyone who witness such “antisocial behaviour” to report it to the council.
