On October 26, 2025 at about 10:45pm City of The Dalles Police officers were alerted to a Burglary in progress at Grocery Outlet at 1300 west 6th street. Officers responded and the suspect was gone. Detectives responded and began an extensive investigation that led to a suspect being identified.
Yesterday; November 12, 2025 Detectives served a search warrant in Tygh Valley and arrested the suspect during an interview in The Dalles.
Detectives arrested Wesley D. Campbell, 30 years old, of Tygh Valley for second degree burglary, aggravated theft in the first degree and second degree criminal mischief. Campbell was booked into the Northern Oregon Regional Corrections Facility and released pending further court proceedings.
Campbell is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges are often reduced or modified in the criminal justice process.
