A Florida man isn’t much into flower power or the age of Aquarius and made his feelings known at a Publix store in Punta Gorda.
Police say 47-year-old Ramsey Thomas Lyons allegedly attacked a 70-year-old shopper with a box cutter because he thought the man “looked like he was from the 1960s,” a decade Lyons reportedly said he disliked. Authorities say the victim suffered a cut to his face that required multiple stitches. Lyons was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 or older.
Police say the victim and suspect did not know each other and that the victim was chosen at random while shopping. (WINK-TV Fort Myers)
