It was election day in Washington state yesterday. On the statewide level, voters passed Senate Joint Resolution No. 8201, to amend its constitution, allowing money in Washington’s long-term care fund to be invested. This would allow the state fund dedicated to providing long-term care benefits for eligible seniors and people with disabilities to be invested as authorized by law.
Goldendale voters approved a one tenth of one percent sales tax increase that is dedicated to public safety.
A good number of races went unopposed in yesterday’s election.
