Bangkok on a buck? Traveler rents $1-per-night Airbnb

A buck may not buy you much these days, but it can get you a night’s stay in a Bangkok, Thailand, Airbnb.

The rental, a 10-minute drive from Bangkok’s Chinatown, features a floor cot wrapped in mosquito netting, a trash can, a fan and a drawer for valuables, according to a Viral Press video obtained by the New York Post.

The digs also include an outdoor laundry station, workout equipment and a “kitchen area,” which is essentially a table with appliances such as a rice cooker, boiler and fridge.

Finally, there’s a shared toilet and a bucket the traveler used as a makeshift shower, plus a locked cabinet that could be rented out for around 3 cents.
