Your zodiac sign might just reveal more than you think — including your travel habits!
According to StudyFinds, a survey commissioned by CheapCaribbean collected information from 2,000 Americans who travel, making sure there were at least 100 people per zodiac sign, to discover these summer travel trends.
Traveling is clearly a crowd-pleaser, with 64% stating it’s one of their favorite things to do. Geminis and Pisces, in particular, have an insatiable thirst for exploration (68% each). The average respondent takes two vacations a year, and one in ten believe they need a getaway every three months.
When it comes to spending money generous Scorpios top the charts, averaging a whopping $2,927 per trip, closely followed by spendthrift Virgos at $2,913.
Interestingly, air signs (Aquarians, Geminis, and Libras) claim to be the most money-conscious travelers (73%), while down-to-earth Tauruses boast the lowest average spending at $2,240.
With 59% of respondents eager to escape their abodes, Capricorns and Pisces take the lead. Fire signs (Aries, Leos, and Sagittariuses) are equally keen on venturing out (57%), while 59% of all participants are committed to having weekly fun — especially the adventurous Cancers (64%).
As for travel superstitions, nearly a quarter avoid traveling on Friday the Thirteenth (23%). Sagittariuses are the most superstitious about this date (29%), while Tauruses dodge meteor showers (18%), and Leos watch out for full moons (11%).
Vacation preferences also diverge along astrological lines. Family-friendly destinations (36%) and tropical getaways (28%) top the list, but Geminis (29%) and Capricorns (28%) can’t resist amusement parks. Scorpios are nightlife enthusiasts, with 52% preferring a thrilling night out on the first evening.
