PICKLEBALL CLUB DONATES OVER $55,000 TO PARKS DEPARTMENT

Talk about ending on a high note. A pickleball club in Vincennes [VIN-senz], Indiana, is closing down, but not before making a huge contribution to its hometown.

The Vincennes Pickleball Club is donating $55,000 to the local parks department after four successful years of building both the sport and the community. What started with 22 enthusiastic women looking to restore aging park courts grew into a powerhouse volunteer effort, funding major upgrades including new lights, fencing, bleachers, and walkways at six courts.

As the club serves its final match, members are leaving behind more than memories. Their generous donation will fund future court maintenance, helping keep the facilities beautiful and pickleball players coming back for years.
