Former Warner Bros. Discovery Chief Executive David Zaslav will receive approximately $606.1 million following the company’s merger with Paramount Skydance, according to a regulatory filing released Thursday.
The payout includes $381.7 million in stock options and approximately $224.4 million in shares and restricted stock units converted into cash. Zaslav also previously sold about $195 million in company stock this year.
The merger, completed on Tuesday, ended Zaslav’s four-year tenure leading Warner Bros. Discovery, which was formed through the 2022 combination of WarnerMedia and Discovery.
Zaslav was among Hollywood’s highest-paid executives, receiving a compensation package valued at approximately $165 million in 2025.
The newly combined entertainment company, operating under the Skydance name, is led by David Ellison and controls major properties including HBO, CNN, CBS, Warner Bros. Pictures and Paramount Pictures. (Variety)
