Jon Watts is set to direct a new Star Wars movie in development at Lucasfilm. Michael Fishman has apologized to Roseanne fans for the recent public feud between him and former co-star Roseanne Barr. Fishman, who played D.J. Conner, said he was sorry for the “chaos” and told fans he did not want the dispute to diminish the sitcom’s legacy. Margaret Qualley and Sabrina Carpenter have joined Tom Holland in Sony’s upcoming Fred Astaire biopic. Holland will portray Astaire, with Qualley playing his sister and original dance partner Adele Astaire and Carpenter portraying Ginger Rogers.
