If you’re single and wondering whether you’ll ever find “the one,” apparently you’re not alone. A new Talker Research survey found that less than half of single Americans, just 41%, believe they’ll eventually find their soulmate. And even people already in relationships have doubts, with 20% saying their current partner isn’t actually “the one.”
The survey also found Americans have mistaken someone for their soulmate an average of two times before, and a third say they’ve head their heart broken more than that. Adding to the challenge, 56% of respondents say they’ve lost their dating “game,” with women are feeling the slump more than men — 60% vs. 47%.
Still, plenty of people haven’t given up, with some believing there could be multiple soulmates throughout a lifetime.
