A blue land crab in Florida is making headlines after a viral video showed a bizarre armed encounter with a man and his dog.
Eduardo Alvarez found his dog, Summer, on the porch squaring off with the crab which appeared to be in a fighting stance and holding a pocketknife. Alvarez was able to carefully pick up the armed crab and safely move it away from the porch. It’s unclear where the crab picked up the blade.
The standoff was caught on video and quickly spread across social media, with viewers in awe of the crab’s unusually aggressive attitude. No one was hurt, but the tiny tough guy has become an internet sensation. (NY Post)
