A Florida man nicknamed the “LEGO Bandit” is behind bars after his criminal enterprise finally came apart at the bricks.

Deputies near Jacksonville say they were investigating a theft at a Target store when they tried to stop 45-year-old Ronald Tipton, who allegedly fled in a U-Haul truck. Authorities say the pursuit ended when deputies pinned the vehicle against a tree. Investigators believe Tipton was connected to an organized retail theft ring and accuse him of stealing more than $20,000 worth of merchandise, including expensive LEGO sets. He’s linked to at least three thefts dating back to August and now faces charges that include retail theft and aggravated fleeing. (WSVN-TV Miami)
