Here in our little village of Astoria, Oregon, you might say every one of us is a fiddler on the roof. Sorry, make that a fi-deer on the roof.
The Astoria Fire Department reports in a Facebook post that a deer got stuck on the roof of a house during the Fourth of July holiday.
“This certainly doesn’t happen everyday but somehow this young deer got onto a roof and needed a little help from your Astoria Firefighters,” the post reads.
It adds, “Please be safe everyone but if you find yourself stuck on a roof we’ll come get you also!”
Hopefully a deer on the roof doesn’t become a July Fourth — sing it with us — tradition.
