This truck poured a lot more than just one out.
Connecticut State Police report in a Facebook post that a commercial tractor-trailer overturned on the highway, causing a cargo spill. While the post doesn’t mention the contents of the cargo, its accompanying photos show packaging and cans of Michelob Ultra beer strewn across the road.
“The road was closed for several hours to facilitate an extensive clean-up effort,” police say. “This extended closure was necessary to clear the large volume of debris and to safely upright and remove the severely damaged truck and trailer.”
We’re guessing that, much like the microphone in Billy Joel’s “Piano Man,” the road will smell like a beer for a long time.
