In case you might have thought otherwise, cows aren’t going to be much help in rescuing stuck paragliders.
Firefighters in Italy came to the assistance of a paraglider who flew into a tree and was unable to get down. As the firefighters prepared a ladder to assist the hapless paraglider, a cow wandered into the scene and offered absolutely no support whatsoever.
“A curious spectator was also watching the paraglider’s rescue,” Italy’s Vigili del Fuoco writes in an Instagram post.
As for why the cow showed up, maybe the paraglider shouted “Cowabunga!” before taking to the skies.
