In 2027, Hershey plans to go back to its “classic milk chocolate and dark chocolate recipes” for all Reese’s products.
The move comes after Brad Reese, whose grandfather came up with the much-loved peanut butter/chocolate concoction, wrote a public letter on Valentine’s Day criticizing Hershey for shifting to cheaper ingredients.
The Pennsylvania company made the announcement on Wednesday, revealing it will also be tweaking the KitKat recipe to make it creamier.
