Police in Suffolk County, New York, were surprised to find a “deer in headlights” when they responded to a burglar alarm at a bank on Sunday.
The culprit who busted into Webster Bank ended up being a buck who’d crashed through the window and gotten trapped inside the financial institution.
“We think the buck was looking for bucks,” the department cleverly quipped on its socials.
Fortunately, officers were able to lasso the wild guy and lead him outside, leaving him none the richer.
