While one person’s idea of fun may sound like torture to another, there’s no doubt there are places where the majority of folks are likely to have a good time. A new list is letting people know where those places are.
WalletHub has come out with a list of the most fun cities in America, comparing 180 U.S. cities on 65 factors that make places fun, including movie costs, fitness centers, and number of attractions, restaurants, spas and festivals.
So, which city in America is the most fun? Las Vegas tops the list, ranking in the top spot for entertainment and recreation, plus nightlife and parties, which isn’t too shocking considering the amount of restaurants, venues, festivals, clubs and more you can find in Sin City.
Coming in behind Vegas is Orlando, Florida, followed by Miami, Atlanta and New Orleans.
Surprisingly, some big cities you’d think would make the top of the fun list didn’t even land in the top 10, including New York at 14, Chicago at 11 and Los Angeles at 17.
As for the least fun city in the U.S., that would be Pearl City, Hawaii, which lands at the bottom with Lewiston, Maine, and Yonkers, New York.
