While folks may have fond memories of the house they grew up in, it seems most Americans have no desire to live there again.
A new YouGov poll finds that most people would prefer to have a new experience when it comes to a home: 33% of Americans say they would definitelynot buy their childhood home if they could, while 18% probably wouldn’t.
In fact, only 16% of Americans say they definitely would buy their childhood home if the chance arose, with another 16% saying they would probably buy theirs.
But there are some folks who like the idea of living in the same house they grew up in. In fact, 6% of those polled say they already own their childhood home.
