A Portland woman has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred in November 2024 in Turner, Oregon. Shanika Strickland, 32, was taken into custody yesterday evening in Gresham and has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
She is scheduled for arraignment today, February 26, 2025, at 2:30 PM at the Marion County Court Annex. It has been determined that the victim and suspect were known to each other.
