Would-be bank robber fails at stealing money and locking up his bike

This is the story of one guy’s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad attempt at robbing a bank.

According to Canada’s Hamilton Police, a male suspect arrived at a bank and threatened a teller while demanding cash. When he was instead confronted by other bank employees, he decided to abandon his mission and fled the scene, having stolen exactly zero dollars.

He then learned about a little thing called karma when he exited the bank to find that his escape vehicle, a bicycle that he’d ridden over, had been stolen by someone who’s evidently much better at the whole robbing thing, forcing him to run away using his own two feet.

Police are looking for both alleged criminals. On behalf of the bike bandit, we wonder if they give out medals for being not the worst thief in your own city.
