Michigan cops find drugs, guns and a gator while executing search warrant

Cops in Michigan got quite a surprise when they went to execute a search warrant in the Downriver area of Detroit.

ABC’s WXYZ reports that while searching a home in the area, the Michigan State Police’s Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team found not only drugs and guns — including methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, pills and nine firearms — but a live alligator.

While the alligator is now in a local animal shelter, the suspect in the case isn’t so lucky. They were arrested by police.
