Two million likes have gone to a TikToker who vocal fries her way through her ideal partner. “I’m looking for a man in finance. With a trust fund. 6’5, blue eyes,” user Girl_On_Couch repeatedly says in the irritating, yet-for-some-reason popular post.
However, Dating.com says she’s going to have to keep looking: there’s less than a 2% chance of finding that exact guy, at least on that site.
The site’s experts noted that less than 4% of male online daters on Dating.com identified as having a height of 6 feet, 5 inches — that is if objectifying people is acceptable again.
Further, they explain, just 6% of their dating pool works in finance and 19% say their eye color is blue.
There were no stats on what percentage of Dating.com’s dating pool admitted to having a trust fund, but add the rest up and, yes, the “perfect guy” is statistically very hard to find.
The site’s experts sum up: “While it’s fun to daydream about prince charming, it’s better not to focus on ideal partner types, as there is a chance you may miss finding someone special. Dating.com encourages and empowers millions of singles everyday to find meaningful connections online.”
