Groom-to-be loses his bride’s wedding dress

An Australian groom-to-be is facing the possibility of spending his honeymoon sleeping on the sofa after accidentally speeding away with his bride’s wedding dress on the roof of his car, where it was lost to the winds.

“We have unfortunately lost a potential wedding dress,” the bride-to-be posted on Facebook over the weekend, sharing that her intended “stupidly left the package on the roof of the car.”

Ironically, her partner put the dress on the roof of his SUV so it wouldn’t be crushed by other items he was loading along with it, according to Australia’s 7News.

The couple, per the Facebook post, is offering a $500 reward for anyone who finds the dress, packaged in a brown delivery box addressed to Lindel Cain.

7News reports the wedding isn’t until next February, leaving Cain plenty of time to find a new dress, should the original fail to be recovered.
