On the morning of January 27th at approximately 8:30am crews from MCFR responded to an exterior smoke call on Mill Creek Road. Upon arrival heavy smoke and fire were visible prompting the upgrade to a working structure fire.
Hood River County, DUFUR, Klickitat EMS and Mosier Fire responded to assist and provide Station Standby. MCFR apparatus responding included: MEDIC 21, MEDIC 22, ENGINE 21, TRUCK 21, CHIEF 21 and CHIEF 25.
The incident lasted approximately 3 hours; no injuries were reported; however, one individual was evaluated by EMS on scene. The occupants made it out safely. Law Enforcement assisted with the road closure while we utilized a fire hydrant across the street from the incident
