High School student from The Dalles raising money to get to sing at Carnegie Hall

Wren Greeley-Havard is high school junior from The Dalles with an extraordinary set of pipes and an amazing opportunity to showcase them. Wren has earned a spot in the Honors Choir which will perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City this coming February! The choir is composed of some of the best young singers from across the country and overseas, so just to be selected is an amazing honor.

“The program is five days long. I would fly to New York City on February 1st and spend the next two days rehearsing, with my performance happening on the 4th,” Wren wrote on GoFundMe. “The trip would be a fantastic opportunity, and I would greatly appreciate your support in this endeavor!”

Wren is now asking the community to help her cover the cost of the trip so she can take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity. She needs about $3,000, and in just one day has already raised nearly $1,000 on GoFundMe. Wren’s GoFundMe can be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-wren-sing-at-carnegie-hall
