Who you gonna call? GOAT BUSTERS!

There’s definitely something weird in this Welsh neighborhood, and that’s why they’re calling the goat busters.

Metro.co.uk reports the village of Llandudno has been overrun by a herd of Kashmiri mountain goats that moved in during the pandemic lockdown. The baaa-d company has overrun the town by demolishing gardens and causing chaos in grocery store parking lots.

They also have become so comfortable around the humans they have put themselves in danger. One goat had to be put down after it jumped in front of a car.

The Welsh citizens decided enough was enough, so they created a special task force to deal with these unwanted bullies. Those appointed to the team will handle the goats and try to keep them contained to their native lands — the Great Orme limestone headland.

Councillor Chris Carter spoke about why the new task force was needed. “[The goats] are not owned by anyone. They are on land on the Great Orme and in fact they were there quite comfortable until the pandemic lockdown,” he said. “Then they decided to move elsewhere. They really uplifted the people of Llandudno.”

The goats are the descendants of the Kashmir mountain goats Queen Victoria gifted the people of Llandudno roughly 100 years ago.

That said, this new task force will be working jointly with Natural Resources Wales, the RSPCA and other local groups to keep the goats safe.
