(The Dalles, Oregon) September 21st, 2022 – The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2022 Wasco County Candidate Forum at the Mid-Columbia Senior Center on October 11th, 2022 at 6:30 pm.
A candidate forum allows candidates seeking public office to express their views openly, so community members can understand their positions and make informed voting choices. All candidates that will impact Wasco County have been invited to speak. Each candidate will have an equal and fair opportunity to express his or her position on issues.
Enjoy a Meet and Greet with candidates before the forum begins from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm. The candidate forum will start at 6:30 pm. The Dalles Chamber will start gathering questions from local residents to be asked during the forum. The moderator will read the questions. No interaction among candidates, audience members, or other program participants is allowed. Answers to these questions on issues will be limited to 1 minute and each candidate will be given the chance to answer.
The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce hopes you will attend this important community event. Please arrive at Mid-Columbia Senior Center, 1112 West 9th Street, The Dalles, Oregon at 5:30 pm for the candidate meet and greet. The Candidate Forum will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
