Boo! More Brits believe in ghosts than trust their government

It’s no stretch to say that trust in government is likely the lowest it’s ever been.  But in the U.K., it’s so bad that more people say they believe in ghosts than believe what their local pols tell them

How bad is it?  A recent poll by the U.K. website SpiritShack finds that, of the 994 people surveyed, 50% of them believed in ghosts, while only 20% said they trusted their government.  Further, the poll found respondents were twice as likely to believe in ghosts than they were to trust the media.

Interestingly, of those who said they believed in ghosts, only 23% said they were scared of them.  By comparison, 25% of those polled said they were afraid of climate change, 55% said germs and illnesses frightened them, and 65% said they feared cyber attacks.

No word on how many Brits are afraid of their government.  Boo!
