In an item in yesterday’s City of The Dalles police report, someone identified as Richard from Bonneville Power Security informied local law enforcement that they will be providing armed security 24/7 at Google the next 12 days due to an alert from the FBI regarding a threat to infrastructure in the area. It also mentioned that security was also traveling to the substation at Rufus. The report identified the FBI contact as Kevin Koelbel, who is listed as a “Supervisory Special Agent. No other information was immediately available.
