Sure, you may think Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time, but how big a fan are you? A new auction will let you prove your MJ mettle: You could be the owner of a pair of his “regularly worn” undies.
That’s right, the auction house Lelands is offering up a pair of Jordan’s underwear, which it undersells as an “unusual item.”
According to the site, the compression shorts originated “from a family member of MJ’s ‘Last Dance’ security guard John Michael Wozniak.”
The grey boxers “even has a dry cleaning tag inside with the last name ‘Wozniak’ as well as a tag that says Michael Jordan, with the iconic last name on the waistband.”
That’s right: they’ve been dry cleaned, so no chance of scrubbing the undies for DNA to try to clone the GOAT.
As Lelands put it, the garment, which shows frays and signs of “heavy use,” are “about as close to greatness as one can get.”
Incidentally, it’s not the only piece of clothing from the legend that the auction house is offering.
If interested, the current top bid is $500.
