Hood River County to Lower Risk Category

On Friday, May 21st, Hood River County will move from Moderate to Lower Risk category. Hood
River County is one of five Oregon counties that has achieved at least a 65% vaccination rate
among those 16 and older, therefore eligible to move down in risk level. Once a statewide target
of 70% vaccinated is reached, counties will no longer be assigned risk levels.

For those who are fully vaccinated (at least two weeks after receiving final dose of vaccine)
Per updated guidance from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), fully vaccinated individuals are
not required to wear a mask indoors in most public settings where vaccination status is checked.
Masks will still be required in public settings where vaccination status is not checked and in
businesses that are continuing to require them.

Moderna
• Thursday, May 20th from 9:15am – 4:15pm: Clinic at River of Life Assembly Church (979
Tucker Road, Hood River). 1st and 2nd doses available to anyone 18 and older. No
appointment necessary.

Johnson & Johnson
• Tuesday, May 25th from 4pm – 7pm: Drop-in clinic at HRC Health Department (1109 June
Street, Hood River). Open to anyone 18 and over, no appointment necessary.

• Thursday, May 27th from 9am – 12pm: Drop-in clinic at HRC Health Department (1109
June Street, Hood River). Open to anyone 18 and over, no appointment necessary.
