Euro Weekly reports a passenger plane was forced to make an emergency landing in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum after an angry cat somehow got into the cockpit and attacked the pilots shortly after takeoff.
The feline, apparently afraid of flying, acted aggressively and attacked the crew. Apparently, after all attempts to restrain the furry hijacker failed, the pilot made a decision to turn the plane around and return to the Sudanese capital, according to a report by local news media in Al-Sudani.
It’s unclear how the cat got on the plane, but it’s believed that it likely snuck onto the aircraft while the aircraft was in a hangar during cleaning or an engineering review and fell asleep.
