Sadly, we are reporting a 24th death in Wasco county due to COVID-19. A resident of Columbia Basin Care passed away Jan. 27 at Mid-Columbia Medical Center. The resident tested positive on Jan. 22.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the resident’s family and all who have lost loved ones to this pandemic. We are grateful a vaccine is now available to combat COVID but it will take time to vaccinate everyone who wants one. We appreciate your patience. In the meantime, we must continue to wear a mask, maintain distance, wash hands, stay home when sick and avoid large gatherings
