President Rutherford B. Hayes had the first telephone installed in the White House. This occurred in 1877, with the phone initially located in the White House's telegraph room. The White House phone number was assigned the number "1". While Hayes had the first phone installed, it was President Herbert Hoover who had the first telephone line installed directly on his desk in the Oval Office, according to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum. 

Simon & Garfunkel famously recorded under the name Tom & Jerry before achieving widespread fame. This early moniker was inspired by the popular cartoon characters, according to Rolling Stone. They used this name for their initial recordings in the late 1950s, including their first single, "Hey, Schoolgirl". 

The advertisement that featured a bunny saying "keeps going and going and going" was for Energizer batteries.The pink Energizer Bunny was created in response to a Duracell campaign that also featured drumming bunnies. While Duracell's bunnies eventually stopped drumming due to battery life, the Energizer Bunny continued its relentless drumming, symbolizing the long-lasting power of Energizer batteries.
