Police: 3 killed in head-on collision near Coeur d’Alene

COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Police say three people died in a head-on vehicle collision on US-95 near Coeur d’Alene. The Idaho State Police said Saturday that a Ford truck traveling north on U.S. 95 crashed into a Subaru traveling south in Kootenai County at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Three people in the Subaru, including two women and a man, died in the crash. Police didn’t release the condition of a 37-year-old man driving the truck. Police said one of the drivers and the passengers in both cars were not wearing seat belts. An investigation is ongoing.
